Q: What is TowMyX?
A: TowMyX is a Canadian company that has been carefully developed by software engineers and tow truck business owners. TowMyX works to make your road trips safe and worry-free. We provide roadside assistance all across Ontario.
Q: How can I join TowMyX?
A: You can join us by signing up for a free membership. We work as On-Demand service and you can pay as you go this way you will avoid paying extra for membership that you might not use. Any extra drivers can be added at no additional cost!
Q: How TowMyX Works?
A: When you are on the road and you encounter a roadside problem such as a flat tire or a dead battery, all you have to do pull out your phone and open the TowMyX app. Just choose your problem and the nearest roadside assistant will be provided for you!
Q: Is there any way to track my roadside assistance call?
A: TowMyX will generate a notification signal once your call has been accepted and a service provider will be on their way to help you! We have GPS locators enabled so you can trace the service provider on the map. It usually takes an average of two minutes to address one problem.
Q: How long will it take for the assistance to come and save me?
A: On average a call is addressed within 5-10 minutes, and a TowMyX roadside assistant will reach you within 15 minutes. We are fast!
Q: Do you help in Accidents too?
A: TowMyX provides assistance in the case of a roadside problem. If you have an accident, you should contact your insurance company! You can use our service but, our service for the time being has nothing to do with your accident and we are separate entity.
Q: What is included in the membership?
A: In the TowMyX membership, you can contact us for tows, boosts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, or winching. Your membership is based on pay as you go and TowMyX will provide you services anytime you require service.
Q: How quickly can I use a membership once I purchase one?
A: TowMyX memberships are activated within hours or max 12 hours. We generate a notification when your account is fully activated and ready for use.
Q: How can I pay?
A: Payments are accepted through any credit card.
Q: How can I cancel my membership?
A: TowMyX memberships does not need to be cancelled as you are only paying as you are using the service. If you are not using the service you are not paying this will actually save you money in long run.
Q: Can I add additional cars? How much does it cost?
A: You can add any extra vehicles at no cost. Memberships are pay as you go and you add as many vehicles as you would like.
Q: Can I add extra drivers? How much does it cost?
A: We do not charge any additional fees for adding drivers. You can add as many drivers as you want from the moment you get your membership without any additional costs.
Q: Do I need to buy the latest phone for using TowMyX?
A: TowMyX is compatible on any Android model and any iPhone model.
Q: Is there any referral bonus if I invite my friends and family for TowMyX?
A: For every member you refer to TowMyX, we will pay you 10$ dollars that could be used toward your your services in future. This is a win-win situation. You both get 10$ that could be used in case our service is used! You can invite people to signup by using your membership number or by using the share button on the menu screen. The more people you invite, the more money you get! (Maximum 100/year). If services used.
